Garnet Lace Collection

The Garnet Lace Collection is three hand-tatted bracelets, Cordelia, Ophelia and Perdita, and the matching Ophelia ring. Jing named each one after a Shakespeare heroine. Cordelia is antique gold metallic tatting thread with natural faceted garnet and a handmade shell button, about 1.5 cm wide. One bracelet at 17 cm is ready to ship. Perdita uses the same garnet and a handmade shell button, tatted in dark blackberry metallic thread, also about 1.5 cm wide, with one bracelet at 17 cm ready to ship. Ophelia is the most ornamented of the three bracelets, layered antique-gold metallic lace set with tiny faceted garnets and finished with a mother-of-pearl button, about 1.5 cm wide, with one bracelet at 19 cm ready to ship.

Each bracelet is offered at 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 cm. The ready length is the one already made. The other lengths are made to order in 2–3 weeks. Measure your wrist and use the size guide. A wrist of 14 to 14.5 cm takes 16 cm, 15 to 15.5 takes 17, 16 to 16.5 takes 18, 17 to 17.5 takes 19, and 18 to 18.5 takes 20.

The Ophelia ring is tatted in gold metallic thread with tiny garnet beads. It has no metal clasps or bands, though the metallic thread contains metal. Ready-to-ship sizes are UK K and UK N, one of each. Other UK sizes are made to order in 3–5 weeks. It is a wide band, so choose half a size up if you are between sizes. Garnet is January's birthstone. Every piece is tatted by hand in North Yorkshire and sent free in the UK by Royal Mail Tracked 48.
