Delivery and returns

Atelier Jing Studio is a trading name of JDDA Media Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 12045526. Atelier Jing Studio is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged and it does not show a VAT number.

Delivery

Delivery is free on every order, by Royal Mail Tracked 48. No VAT is charged.

I post to England, Scotland and Wales. I don’t post to Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man. If your postcode is outside that area, I’ll say so before you pay. If you’d still like a piece, email hello@jingsthings.co.uk.

When will my order arrive?

  • The order cut-off is 2pm, Monday to Saturday. An order placed by 2pm on Monday to Saturday is handled that day. An order after 2pm, or on Sunday, waits until the next Monday to Saturday.
  • Ready-to-ship pieces are posted in 1–2 working days, Monday to Saturday.
  • Transit is 2–3 days, Monday to Saturday, by Royal Mail Tracked 48.
  • Made-to-order pieces usually take 2–5 weeks, depending on the piece, then the same transit time. Bracelets take 2–3 weeks. Rings take 3–5 weeks. Necklaces take 3–5 weeks.
  • Commissions take the time I agree with you when I quote.

How is it packed?

Every piece is carefully wrapped and packed to arrive safely. Packaging may vary depending on the piece.

Before busy seasons, I’ll show the last order dates in the banner at the top of the site.

If a parcel is late or lost

If tracking hasn’t moved for 5 working days, email me. I’ll chase Royal Mail, then replace the piece or refund you.

Returns

Changing your mind

Ready-to-ship pieces can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Send it back by post, new and unused. Made-to-order and custom-size pieces are non-returnable. I don’t offer exchanges, and there’s no restocking fee.

  1. Tell me within 14 days. Email hello@jingsthings.co.uk with your order number, or use the model cancellation form. You don’t have to give a reason.
  2. Send it back by post within 14 days of telling me. Pack it carefully, in its original packaging if you can. You pay the return postage if you change your mind. Return postage is free if the piece is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered. A tracked service is a good way to show the parcel is on its way.
  3. Get your refund. I’ll refund the price you paid within 14 days of getting the piece back, or of you showing proof you’ve sent it, whichever is sooner, to the card or account you paid with. There is no restocking fee.

Commissions

The only exception is a commission: a piece made to your own design (your colours, shape, style or size). The 14-day change-of-mind right doesn’t apply to commissions. You can still cancel for a full refund before I start work. See the Commissions page.

If something is wrong

If a piece arrives faulty or damaged, or isn’t what you ordered, email me as soon as you can, with a photo if possible. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you can reject it for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. After that you can ask for a repair or replacement, and then a price reduction or a final refund. I cover the cost of sending it back. This applies to everything, including commissions. See the terms.

Cancellation

You can cancel a ready-to-ship shop order for 14 days after the day it arrives. That is the cancellation right in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The steps are under Changing your mind. Made-to-order and custom-size pieces are non-returnable. A commission made to your own specification can still be cancelled for a full refund before I start the work. The Commissions page sets that out.
